I research how to use algorithms to decode complex societal patterns and empower human creativity.
I'm a PhD student at
HKUST supervised by Prof. Huamin Qu and Prof.
Cameron Campbell, and previously earned my MPhil (Computer Science) in and
BSc (Social Science & Computer Science) in the same university.
When I'm not working, I enjoy human-nature interaction (i.e., hiking) in Hong Kong. I'm also passionate about Karate, a sport that teaches me to be patient and resilient.
I leverage advanced AI and computational methods to understand social mobility, inequality, and human success across history and the present.
I build collaborative human-AI systems and generative algorithms that empower users to create expressive images and cinematic videos.
